1) In Rome – Two directors of the Vatican Bank resigned this week in the midst of allegations of illegal financial transactions. Prosecutors in Rome are considering prosecution in this matter. With this news- are their more resignations to come?
2) In Egypt – The Egyptian military brought into custody ousted Egyptian first elected president, Mohamed Morsi and the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood. With this action- did the military prevent a civil war within the country?
3) In the U.S. –A German magazine reported that the U.S. government used surveillance to spy on their European allies. President Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel agreed on talks about this issue. With this news- will this threaten the launch of Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership negotiations?
