Things to Watch…
1) In the U.S. –President Obama thrashed Mitt Romney in the 2012 Presidential Election. Soon after the election, data showed that women and minorities are the new majority in the U.S. With this new reality-will the Republican Party reboot itself to appease to this new demographic?
2) In Germany/France –German Chancellor Angela Merkel refused to back the merger of Airbus parent company EADS and the British defense company BAE Systems essentially killing the deal. With this news- is Mrs. Merkel flexing Germany’s ever growing power and influence in the Euro Zone?
3) In China – Chinese President Hu Jintao warned incoming Communist party leaders that corruption will be the downfall of the party. With this warning- will the new leaders heed his message?
